Job Overview

Supporting Smooth Business Operations Through Customer Service and Internal Coordination

As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for a wide range of sales support activities, including quotation management, order processing, delivery coordination, invoicing, and payment follow-up. You will also serve as a key liaison between customers and the company's headquarters in Japan, coordinating technical inquiries and ensuring smooth communication across teams.

Upon joining, you will start by learning the company's products and business operations through hands-on sales administration work. Depending on your aptitude and career aspirations, there may also be opportunities to expand your responsibilities to include customer visits and sales activities in the future. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in supporting business growth through close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.


Examples of Key Responsibilities

Sales Support

Respond to customer inquiries and sales requests by preparing and submitting quotations. Once orders are confirmed, coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to manage order processing, delivery arrangements, and follow-up activities to ensure timely fulfillment.

Invoicing and Payment Follow-up

Issue invoices and monitor payment status after product delivery. Work closely with sales representatives and customers to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction process.

Technical Inquiry Coordination

Handle technical inquiries from customers by coordinating with technical and related departments at the headquarters in Japan. Facilitate communication, manage schedules, and ensure that information is clearly shared between customers and internal teams.

Learning and Career Development

Develop product and operational knowledge through sales administration responsibilities. Over time, there may be opportunities to broaden your role to include customer-facing activities and sales responsibilities, depending on your interests and performance.


Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Valid work authorization or residence permit allowing employment in the Netherlands

  • Minimum of 3 years of office-based work experience in a corporate environment

  • Native-level Japanese or equivalent proficiency

  • Business-level English

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Please note that Dutch language skills are not required for this position.

Preferred

  • Experience in sales administration, sales support, or a related administrative role
